In the ASOS collection this winter, judged from the pictures, a slightly less slim silhouette shall be a feature, with a heavy theme of the ‘classic english gent’. Fairisle knits are all I shall say. Get charity shopping!

They are cropping up everywhere, so it’s a god bet to get yourself one.

They’ve been around for a few months now, and they are the perfect wallet. It’s all you need, resembles an oyster card holder, just a but sexier. It’s just a shame they were £35 for so long. They were originally designed because of the need to just have a wallet not too chunky to put in a clutch (for the lasses) and in the skinnies (for the lads). They are being stocked in the UK by ASOS and there are selected ones in the sale, but check timowallets.com for the new designs.

With the return of sportswear it would be hard to overlook Adidas, and I’m not saying this t-shirt is to everyone’s taste. It’s loud and logoed and would be ridiculously hard to not look like a try hard hipster whilst wearing it, but then again you don’t have to wear it with huge gold chains and high tops. Under an slouchy black waffle cardi it’s going to look good.

If your anything like me, you like your jeans to look like leggings from a distance. And I’m not usually fan of Topman jeans because they tend to be a bit straight leg, even when you go down to a 28. So I’m pleased that they’ve done a ‘spray on’ range to accommodate this problem. Here are the nicest ones in the collection.

But…Cheap Monday are going to cost you only a fiver more, and use the same skinny/stretch method. And if the S/S 10 show is anything to go by, the sprayon is going to once agin be big. Skinnies really are outliving expectation.

At hipleeds, you can pre-order some of the Doc Martens A/W 09 range. There are three styles available in many different colourways, ranging from the classic 8 eyed boot to these brilliant desert boots.
Shoes by Doctor Martens £75
As I’ve said before, you can pick up some great shoes from some unsuspecting places.
Shoes by Burton £45 £20
Peoples Market should not only be looked at for their denim, as proved by some of the jackets and shirts in their current collection. This blazer comes in black too.
Blazer by Peoples Market £89 £62.50
Love the black deserts, and you can’t get better than Clarks.
Desert Boots by Clarks £69 £45
I actually cannot believe what a bargain these are. In a full range of sizes, they’re soooo cheap and actually soooo good.
Shoes by Aldo £40 £29.98
Although on their website, it’s only in an XXL, I popped into a couple of AllSaints recently and saw their full size range so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find your size. It’s hard to justify buying knitwear in a heat wave, but you can never have enough cardigans and with it’s seersucker design, it’s a staple that’s not going to bore other people to death.
Cardigan by AllSaints £90 £45
At Reiss, you can find this fantastic double breasted blazer at half price. And I do have to admit, as soon as it went into sale I purchased it. I unfortunately do not have the frame to fill it out completely, so on me it looks better worn casual, undone with some skinnies and a t-shirt, much in the style of a jacket instead of a formal blazer. Hands in the pockets, with a pair of brogues to foot, this is an elegant piece which can be dressed up or down so easily.

I’v been reading and hearing in a few places, that the chav-indie look is coming back (you remember the Adidas/GioGoi and skinnies look 06/07?) and whilst you might not have to go to JD sports to complete this look it’s a fun look that’s another nod back to the 80′s. Plastic watches are compulsory. Kasabian may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I do have to say, I think Serge’s outfit confirmed that he is one of the coolest people out there. I’v done some research and I’m pretty sure it’s from Jeremy Scott’s Autumn Winter 09 collection for Adidas.
